It’s Thursday people!!! Making it through the week!
I’m feeling straight out of the 90’s in this slipdress and pumas. I have to be honest… I kind of love that 90’s inspiration is all over the fashion world right now! Can we just all re-enact the movie Clueless. I wanted to be Cher, for real! I wanted a yellow, plaid cropped jacket with matching mini skirt like it was nobody’s business. And don’t even pretend like when the scene that played the song “Rolling With The Homies” came on you didn’t also do the hand motion, and then continue to sing that one line over and over again. I know you did, but I was right there with you!
Anyway, I do love a slipdress during the fall months because I feel like it’s a perfect transitional piece, and there are also so many layering possibilities! I paired a t-shirt this time, but a turtleneck or a white, collared button-up shirt would be just as great! The outer layer can be switched up as well! Change out the denim for a leather moto jacket, or even a long, wool, camel colored option. Lastly, replace the sneaks with a bootie or mule. Any options works! I absolutely love that this one dress can be the base for so many different looks! The thought of only wearing this dress one way…
