Another Monday is upon us… How’s everyone feeling about their day thus far? Honestly, Monday’s don’t really have an affect on me, which is probably due to the fact that I work form home and therefore work strange hours. Even on the weekends, I find myself trying to accomplish business related tasks, such as right now. It’s actually Sunday afternoon, and after a long first part of my day working at my church, which I love doing btw, I come home to sit and work some more! For those of you thinking that I’m neglecting my hubby, he’s sitting on the couch next to me, up to his eye balls in homework; therefore, I don’t feel bad working on my stuff on a Sunday afternoon. 😉 Yes, he’s in the military, but he’s currently attending a military school, which explains the homework situation.
On to other topics… Who is sick of hearing about the Nordstrom sale? Hahahaha! Everywhere you look, somebody is promoting it, right?! 🙂 Well, hopefully you don’t get sick of me when I say this entire look is from that very sale. Sorry, but this sale is so good that it’s hard not to help others navigate through it. The top I’m wearing is finally stocked again! It keeps selling out, so if you run into that problem, continue checking because there’s a good chance you’ll find it restocked later. If you are on the fence about whether or not to buy this top, let me help you decide… DO IT! 😉 On a scale from 1 to 10 concerning softness, it’s at a 10, and it’s extremely versatile. In this post, I have one shirt-tale tuck in, but you could tuck in both, tie a knot in the front, tuck the entire shirt in, etc, etc… I think you get the idea. You can do a lot with it!
I paired it with these amazing FRAME denim jeans. The zipper at the bottom of the legs are the kind of detail that take an average pair of jeans to cool-girl chic. Speaking of cool, the red color of these mules are a nice break from the nuetral shoe colors you see all the time. Don’t get me wrong, I love black, camel, and grey, but a punch of color on a shoe just feels fresh. Anyone else agree?!
I finished off the look with a simple black and white bandana. I am definitely a neck scarf kind of girl, from a classic bandana to a beautifully, patterned, silk one, they are all my jam! 😉
