Hello friends! Happy Tuesday to everybody! Last week I mentioned that I was starting a new segment as a part of my blog, entitled “Style It 2 Ways.” Well, this it the very next installment in the “Style It 2 Ways” segment! It’s also the second look by legendary brand Maggy London. Like I mentioned last week, I was so excited when they wanted to collaborate with me on a topic that I love giving to my readers. For this week, I’m showcasing a beautiful faux wrap dress from Maggy London’s line London Times. The colors in this dress are so vivid and bright, and not to mention perfect for fall! As soon as I put this dress on, I automatically felt sexy. Do you have any pieces that just make you feel like a women as soon as you put it on? This dress was that for me. So, I knew I wanted to showcase that aspect as one of the ways I styled it. Considering the print is so busy, I love the idea of keeping everything else simple. The delicate chocker and metallic, minimalistic heels are the perfect compliment!
For the second look, I wanted to showcase a completely different direction, and give it a “cool girl” vibe. So, an easy way to accomplish that is to layer it! I believe that a fitted black turtle neck and a statement belt are necessities in any gal’s fashion arsenal. They never fail to come in handy for those statement making, clutch moments, and this was no exception. I love how each of those items adds something a little extra to this already amazing dress. I’m also crazy about how these sock booties look with it.
The Alejandra wrap dress is extremely flattering on literally any body type. That is one of the best aspects of this silhouette. It is also so versatile that I bet you can come up with many other ways to wear it! I would love to know how you would wear your Alejandra! Leave me a comment! 🙂
