Nothing says fall uniform quite like a cardigan, jean, boot combo! Most of us ladies wear that combo at least once a week during the cooler months. Honestly, probably more! BUT, in a sea of fall plaids and riding boots (which I do love btw), I bring you a classic fall union with a bit of a twist.
It’s no surprise by now that I have a deep, deep love for Chelsea boots. I honestly don’t even remember when it started… all I know is that I search high and low every fall season for another pair to add to my collection. Well, ladies and gentlemen, I have found THAT pair that probably blows all my other pairs out of the water! These lookers form Marc Fisher are killer, equipped with a pointed toe and patent leather. They are also extremely comfortable, which in all honesty, I would wear these even if they made my feet bleed because they are that beautiful. I guess it’s a good thing they don’t. 😉
I love how the patent leather compliments the emerald green of the cardigan and cami. This green is so rich and beautiful, and it looks good on pretty much every skin tone. Also, the monochromatic vibe of these two pieces are giving me all the feels! The fact that they’re the same tone just increases the cool factor. Matchy-matchy has definitely made a comeback in the fashion world, whether it’s a matching pant/top set, all in the same pattern, or an outfit in the same tone from head to toe. Personally, I love it all!
This cami has been out of stock pretty consistently since it emerged onto Nordstrom’s website at the beginning of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. So, you can imagine my excitement when I saw yesterday that it had been restocked, and it also comes in black. I bought this during the sale, so the price I paid was super inexpensive, but even though it’s full price now, it’s only $35! So worth the purchase considering how versatile a good cami is. This cardigan also comes in many colors (the pink and the grey may need to come home with me 😉 ). It’s extremely soft and would be the perfect travel companion! I always carry some sort of layer with me when I fly because the airplane can go from sweat-to-death sauna then immediately change to an arctic freeze. Gotta prepare!
