::Celebrate::

Happy Tuesday everyone! I am SOOOOO very excited to finally have my blog up and running!  The idea of this creative medium has been swirling around in my brain for a while, so to have it come to fruition is really exhilarating.  So, what better way to celebrate my first post than with a look that is a bit more formal!  This amazing Topshop skirt has been hanging out in my closet for a while, just begging me to put her to good use.  I originally bought it in the hopes that I would have some super fun, fancy-smancy military ball to go to, but unfortunately, that has not been the case (yet).  The launch of Bourbon Blonde is a celebratory event, so lets throw that baby on!

Who says you can’t wear florals in winter?  Not this girl! In my opinion, there’s no better way to keep your spirits lifted during these cold and sometimes dreary months than with flowers! I styled the skirt with a basic white button-up that I wrapped instead of actually buttoning the buttons.  It creates a bit of a different vibe, don’t you think?  I also wanted the formal look to be more untraditional, so the structured top creates a nice balance.
