Next order of business, this dress, which makes me happy every time I put it on. I kind of have a weird obsession with birds, so when I saw the bright and cheery parrot pattern, I knew it had to be mine! This colorful little number is by no means new, I actually bought it a couple of years ago at Anthropologie, but one of my favorite things to do is take pieces and reinvent them by wearing them different ways. Considering I have been on a sneaker kick lately, I thought this dress would be super fun with some slip-on Vans. Perfect for a busy day of running errands!
I also wanted to style this dress in a more feminine way to contradict the casual look shown above. Heels, a fun belt, and a necklace make this dress date ready! (Hubs, hint hint ;-))
