Happy Monday everybody!!! I hope your weekend was restful, exciting, and all those other fun adjectives! The countdown is on to moving day for us! In about two months, my cute little family and I will be making our way to the midwest! This year is already starting off with a bang, and I welcome the excitement!
Speaking of exciting, how fun is this street style look?!?! I have to say that I am obsessed with this skirt! I feel like the possibilities of styling it are endless! Plus, the fact that it’s metallic makes me drool even more. It’s hard for me to pass up anything with a sheen. 😉 I actually did a style post with this skirt a couple of weeks ago, but the vibe of the look was totally different than this one. It had a formal feel, definitely a party look.
But, I personally love being able to take a dressier piece and make it feel appropriate for day. This is my kind of street look… mixing dressy and casual, feminine and masculine. Honestly anything I can wear with sneakers is a winner in my book! I am also a huge fan of layering. Adding the leather vest and faux fur scarf gives the look a bit more dimension and interest, and added dimension and interest in your look is always a good thing! 😉
How do you create interest in your looks?
Skirt. Vest. Tee (similar from the same brand here). Scarf. Shoes. Earrings (old, but love these and these).
