Good morning all! I hope everyone had a deliciously, delightful Thanksgiving! Chris and I met his parents in San Antonio for a very non-traditional holiday. We stayed at the Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch and enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving meal provided by the hotel. When I say it was incredible, it was incredible!!! I am still recovering from my food coma. The grounds of the resort we absolutely breathtaking. Chris and I really enjoyed strolling along the miles of walking trails that were tucked into the wilderness. These walking trails are actually where I shot this look. It ended up being the perfect spot for the vibe I wanted. So beautiful!
I also fell in love with the city of San Antonio! The River Walk, the Alamo… there is literally so much to see and do. We had an absolute blast, and I can’t wait to go back!
Now let’s talk my look. I recently found this dress at ZARA while I was in Los Angeles, and knew instantly that I had to have it! I love the look of pairing it with a slip dress. I also love that it isn’t very form fitting, which gives it a chic vibe, and makes it super comfortable considering all the holiday goodies that are usually ingested during this time of year.. This is the type of look that I would wear to a holiday party. It is very different than the typical LBD, or the little sequin numbers that you tend to see. It would also be super fashion forward to wear it with slim pants and a collared button-up shirt. Some statement earrings, and BAM, insanely cool look. This dress is a conversation starter for sure, and perfect for those of you that want to be a bit different! So, go ahead, take a risk!
