It’s Tuesday friends, and you know what that means! Another “Style It 2 Ways” is here for your enjoyment (hopefully 😉 )
I’ve teamed up with Bailey Blue to show you two very fun, and different, ways to style their Barcelona Blouson Dress. This cute little number is equipped with a cold shoulder sleeve and braided tassel belt! I love dresses that are so comfortable they feel like your wearing your favorite t-shirt. This dress has that feel to me!
Labor Day is coming up in a couple of weeks, which means summer is winding down. So, for this “Style It 2 Ways,” I wanted to give you a look that you can easily wear while it’s still warm, and a look that will also easily transition you into fall just by changing out some of the details.

Look 1: End of Summer
For this first look, I kept the accessories simple to allow the dress to be the star. This would be the perfect look for your upcoming Labor Day weekend festivities. Many of you will probably be outside doing things like grilling out, boating, or going to an outdoor concert! This dress is light enough to help you stay cool in the heat, and adding a hat will protect your face from the sun. I also always bring some sort of layer with me, which is usually my denim jacket in the warmer months. I hate when I come from outside where it’s 90 degrees into a restaurant that feels like the Arctic! Having a lightweight jacket to throw over my shoulders helps me brave the “winter.” 😉
Look 2: Fall Transition
For my second look, I wanted to show you how you can wear this dress as the temp starts to drop. I love the leather vest with this. It toughens the dress up a bit, which I personally love. I actually love wearing vests in the fall, regardless of the material. I find that during this weird transitional time where the temp can’t fully make up it’s mind, wearing a full jacket can be too warm. Wearing a vest though, my core is kept warm, while my arms still get to enjoy the cool fall breeze. Best of both worlds!
I also love booties with this dress. I originally tried on black booties with this, but they seemed a bit too harsh. The gold is subtle enough that they don’t look odd. You could even opt for a cognac or nude color as well. I switched up the belt for this look to help with the “toughened up” look, and I used the belt that came with the dress as a choker. Don’t be afraid to rethink the purpose of something!
